PANCHAKARMA
(SHODHANA CHIKITSA)
BODY PURIFICATION THERAPY
Panchakarma is a Sanskrit term meaning “five actions” or “five treatments.” It is considered one of the most powerful detoxification and purification therapies in Ayurveda, designed to restore the balance of the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.

Ayurveda recommends Panchakarma not only for managing chronic illnesses but also as a seasonal regimen to maintain physical and mental well-being. It improves the body’s receptivity to medicines, supports Rasayana (rejuvenation therapy), enhances immunity, and promotes the balance of the Dhatus (tissues) and Doshas (body humors).
